Using a blend of approaches including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the gold standard in couples work, I help partners understand the patterns and emotions beneath their conflict so they can break stuck cycles and find their way back to each other. I welcome couples of all identities and relationship structures, including those where one or both partners have ADHD.
A gentle, client-led, brain-body approach that uses your field of vision to reach experiences that are hard to access through talking alone. Brainspotting grew out of EMDR, but rather than moving the eyes back and forth, we find a single eye position, or "brainspot," connected to what you're feeling in your body.
Holding that spot is thought to engage deeper, older parts of the brain, where trauma and stuck emotions can be processed and integrated. Beyond healing old wounds, it can also be used for expansion: building confidence, unlocking creativity, and strengthening your sense of your own resources.
For adults 18+ who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or out of step with their own lives. People come to individual therapy for all kinds of reasons, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, ADHD, grief, big transitions, and questions of identity and meaning. Whatever brings you here, we'll work collaboratively to understand your patterns and what's in the way, then support change from the inside out.
Nature-Based Sessions
Any of the above can take place outdoors, in local parks around Portland. Being outside can settle the nervous system, widen perspective, and let insight arrive at its own pace.

As a pre-licensed associate, I work with private pay clients only and can't bill insurance directly. I'm happy to provide a superbill you can submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement. I'd recommend checking your benefits with your insurer first.
